Memories that will last a lifetime

"Thank you Trek4Ceylon team, marshalls, support staff and riders for an amazing ride. Team Canada had an amazing time and is leaving with memories that will last a lifetime. We are excited to see the work start at St. Luke’s hospital. Each of us have learned so much from all of you - from compassionate hearts, perseverance, dedication, and athleticism. Many of us joined this ride as beginner riders but now consider ourselves cyclist! Until next time..."

I have tasted Sri Lanka and...I might have to come back for another bite!

"I must thank everyone involved in making...T4C such an amazing success. When I signed up for this event, I knew it was for a great cause but little did I know about the fantastic people participating, from all over the world, sharing with us personal stories connecting them all back to this island - it was incredibly moving. It has also been very humbling to see riders of all abilities working together to complete a tough challenge in equally challenging conditions. What an absolute privilege it was to co-captain group 2 and I will cherish the memories made for the rest of my life. Thank you all. I have tasted Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka tasted good, so good in fact that I might have to come back for another bite! "

We’re already thinking about coming back

"This experience has taught us so much. We had the privilege of meeting incredible people, hearing their stories, and getting a glimpse into their lives. I want to say a huge thank you to our captain Reza and our mechanic Mark for pushing us to cover every kilometer. Your support made all the difference. Also, a big thank you to the Marshalls and the doctors – your help was invaluable throughout this journey. We’re already thinking about coming back – this is not goodbye, it’s just see you later! Thank you all once again."

A ride of a lifetime

"This experience was so much more than just cycling — it was a journey of sport, joy, and camaraderie that deepened our bond as riders while giving back to our beloved motherland. I'm incredibly grateful for the group of 70 riders from nine countries who took on this challenge together, and for the exceptional, meticulous organization that made the 2025 ride truly unforgettable. I can’t wait to return in 2026 — this time riding in tandem with my wife!"

Trek4Ceylon’s 2025 ride was truly a surreal experience

"As an 8-year-old leaving Sri Lanka in 1994, I never imagined I’d return to cycle through a once war-torn country. I’m so grateful to T4C for the chance to give back in a meaningful way. Whether you're after a challenge, an adventure, or a way to connect and contribute—this ride is something special."

I was part of the T4C support team

"I was invited to take part in the annual Trek4Ceylon in 2025, as a member of the support team (when my husband was taking part as a rider). It was definitely hard work for those 4 days, but what an unforgettable experience! I was privileged to meet some of the most amazing people, all brought together for a cause close to so many hearts in the Sri Lankan diaspora: helping rebuild war-torn communities particularly in the north of the country. It also gave me the chance to discover beautiful Sri Lanka and its wonderful people. I would like to thank the organisers (who did an incredible job btw!) for the opportunity."
